Cowboy Dressage Clinic
at Summer Wind Ranch

This clinic is specifically designed for those of you who are new to Cowboy Dressage OR want to enhance your Cowboy Dressage skills in a fun, relaxed and educational setting. We will ride the official Cowboy Dressage court and Challenge Court. My goal is for you to ride Cowboy Dressage with precision, confidence, and of course, soft feel.
Some of the Cowboy Dressage maneuvers and requirements that we will be addressing are:
Tack and dress for Cowboy Dressage
The ins and outs of the Cowboy Dressage court
How to guide your horse on a straight line (center line) using your body first.
The difference between the “free” and “working” gaits
How to help you and your horse maintain a ten meter bend on a ten meter circle and a twenty meter bend on a twenty meter circle.
Crossing poles while maintaining cadence.
Addressing the judge, and mostly having fun!
$150 per rider – RSVP to hold your spot.
Auditors welcome – $25 per day –
